Good grief, Hollywood legend Debbie Reynolds was rushed to a hospital Wednesday after falling ill, a source with knowledge of the case told The Times.

The emergency comes a day after Reynolds’ daughter, actress and author Carrie Fisher, died after a heart episode on a flight from London to Los Angeles.
No official information was available about the 84-year-old’s condition. The source said paramedics arrived at her son’s home at about 1 p.m. after Reynolds complained of breathing problems.

So incredibly heartbreaking. Her son said she wanted to be with Carrie. My heart hurts for the family.

So very sad, but sometimes that happens with great loves. It is a double dose of sadness for those left behind, though.

I am actually in tears and I don't cry.

Ironically the first time I cried at a movie (and I was actually balling) was when darth Vader died in Return of the Jedi. I still remember that day as a 9 year old ...I knew Darth Vader was good deep inside and when Luke took off his mask after Vader saved his life, I just broke down. Then I walk out of the pitch black theater, my face still wet with tears, into the brightest sunshine and bluest sky possible, with the theatre building being all white on the outside. Star Wars will always be a lynchpin in who I am.

At the same time, I can't remember a year when I haven't watched singing in the rain at least once. I think Make Them Laugh is one of the best dance sequences ever. I smile every time I hear Good morning, Good Morning on commercials. And last Saturday when Jack got his very first umbrella, I pulled out my phone and played Singing in the Rain, another all time great dance sequence.

If Debbie Reynolds had died today at 84, without the events of the last 5 days, I would be sad, but understandable given her age. But now, this, it just seems so so sad.

Legal, try to concentrate on Jack and his first umbrella.. which has to be a pretty cute moment, right?

It's just the saddest thing... Debbie Reynolds passing away today, 1 day after her daughter died. They say a stroke. I say a broken heart. :-(

Sea, yes a very adorable moment for my son. He knows about Carrie, but I am not sharing about Debbie. The word "die" is on HIS banned words list.

We need to bubble wrap our national treasure, Betty White and keep her safe from the 2016 grim reaper!!

My heart goes out to Todd Fisher, how unthinkable to have to plan a funeral for your momm and sister. God bless him
