It's great to be at games like that. I've also been at a few milestone games in my life.

Between winning pitcher Matt Cain, MVP Melky Cabrera, and Pablo Sandoval who hit a three-run triple, the Giants were really well represented last night in the All Star game. GO GIANTS!!!

The Giants won the pennant! The Giants won the pennant! The Giants won the pennant! The Giants won the pennant!

Whoohoo, 9-0 in Game 7!

And since I was born in Detroit, Giants vs. Tigers is almost as good as Giants vs. A's!

I'm sorry if this is a repeat of what has been mentioned in the past, but I just want to mention a documentary made in 2011 that I don't see mentioned here.

I have been a Chicago Cubs fan since my Granny got me hooked in approx 1978.

The documentary is called "Catching Hell", and it's about the unfortunate moment a poor fan reached out to grab a foul ball, and became the most hated man in Chicago.

Really, you guys have to watch it. It's fascinating. They keep rerunning it this month on CMTHD.

Anyone paying attention to baseball now? The A Rod/NYYankees situation? The Pennant races?

I watch all year long, Kitkat. My team, the Texas Rangers, have been good for the last 4 seasons, so it's kept me interested.

The whole A-Rod situation is one I tend to skip when choosing which stories to read and follow. The PED stuff has been done into the ground, and we all know the score on that one.

Other than Texas-Oakland, the pennant race I'm most interested in is the NL Central with Pittsburgh and St. Louis out front right now. I really want to see the Pirates in the playoffs once again (1992 was the last time they made it). The other 2 NL divisions are basically over with a month to go. Dodgers and Braves will be tough to beat, but there should be some good post-season series' this year.

My favorite player story this season has been Yasiel Puig of the Dodgers. He's a sensational talent, but apparently he's got some "flake" in his personality. That just makes him more interesting to me. I wanna see him play in the postseason.

Hi Lycanthrope, I'm glad to hear from you.

My team is the Tampa Bay Rays, in the AL east. They had been doing pretty good, but lately, they have kind of stubbed their toe. Their west coast trip is not going well at all. Hopefully they will get their mojo back soon and be able to be in the playoffs.

I do enjoy baseball but my heart is still broken over the LA Dodgers losing to the Cards in the playoffs. I was able to attend 2 playoff games and I'm telling you, the excitement was electric and with Dodger Stadium's beauty, it was a treat for me to be there.

I've always like the Boston Red Sox and was pulling for them to win over Detroit, so I'll root for Boston over St. Louis in the World Series.

I actually get bored watching baseball... except for the playoffs and world series games. Those, I love to watch. I've gone to a couple of MLB games in the past and never make it past the 7th inning because I'm bored with it. I would actually want to leave earlier, but always want to see the 7th inning stretch. So, I would stay through the end of the 7th.

High five, MsEggie! I'm sorry your heart was broken the Dodgers loss. I know that heartbreak only too well. The excitement of playoff games must be something special! Glad you had that opportunity.
