We don't seem to have any random talks thread and I wanted to say how happy I am that Andy Murray won the US Open!!!!
I wanted Roddick to win but this is almost as good. And since Rafi couldn't play I think this is the best!

Yes. 3 perfect games. 36 strikes in a row. I think I read that it is the 21st perfect series ever in the history of the PBA.

Good grief, I have been watching NBC to see Tara and Johnny, mostly to see their hats, for about an hour. And they just announced that the race will run in about an hour and a half. Geez! Lets get the race run, why do you need a 3 hour Program for a horse race, LOL!

Time for some Canadian pride, neighbors to the North. There are no remaining players from the US left in the French Open, but there ARE two Canadians, including Mr Roanic, who is thisclose to being in the top ten.

Even better news: Hingis makes triumphant return to mixed doubles, winning 6-1 6-1 today
And CANADA still has two people in the singles draws: Eugenie Bouchard, who is looking like the real deal after beating Cornet (the player who ousted Serena Williams), and Milos Roanic.
