I haven't been able to log on to Time Warners website to pay my bill for a week (I can get to their site, but once I try to actually log on, I get nothing but error messages.) Contacted them earlier about it and I have to say, it was the most pleasant experience I've had with customer service in I don't know how long!

The rep was so friendly and so polite through the entire conversation. She didn't help fix my problem, still can't get logged in (she suggested I try later that it might be a server issue,) but she was friendly and polite and that's a big deal for me!

Yay for good service!

Two things made me smile today:

1. A beautiful, HUGE butterfly has been hanging around the yard, and it was flying all over today when I was out with the dog.

2. Supper was solo, so I had coffee ice cream topped with hot fudge (LOVE Mrs. Smith's!) and a tiny sprinkle of sea salt. Totally unhealthy, but totally delicious! :-)

In the book Animal Speak by Ted Andrews says that when a butterfly shows up you should make note of important issues confronting you at the moment. Look at how much or how little joy is in your life.Lighten up. Look for change.

Ahhhh....sleeping in your own bed can't be beat after a couple of nights in a hotel.

Quiet neighbors. After 2+ years of having the partying neighbors throwing loud, wild parties every week, I'm thrilled to say we finally have new neighbors. They are soooo quiet and it's wonderful! I'm going to have to introduce myself one of these days.

YAY, War!

We had a friend and family-filled day. Spent most of the afternoon w/2 good friends watching the Coast Guard parade (and DS's first "gig" as drum major). Then we spent the evening w/my folks - just grilled out dinner, taught them a few tricks on FB and chatted.

Definitely a good day!

Isn't it amazing how they go from being so embarrassing when we're teenagers to being cute when we're older? LOL

We spent the weekend with some seldom-seen relatives, visiting some ancestors' places in Canada. The weather cooperated! The ferry ride was smooth and refreshing. The B&B was comfy and quirky. We ate some yummy seafood in both countries. We laughed a lot. Many little things added up to be one great time!

It was great and wonderful. :-)

Jmm, I agree with your observation. I bet our parents always were cute but we just had to get old enough to recognize it. LOL

Took the dog with me for some errands that didn't require me to get out of the car. He loves going for rides; it really is the little things.
