Finished the King single and now reading another Kindle single. The title is Epic Fail: Bad Art, Viral Fame and the History of the Worst Thing Ever by Mark O'Connell.

Chevy Stevens does write a good thriller. Try Jennifer Hillier as well - Freak and Creep.
I did not enjoy Gone Girl as much as Gillian Flynn's older books.
Currently reading The Lace Makers of Glenmarra. Takes place in a little Irish village. Nice light story.
Listening to a Barbara Delinsky on audio. I did finish up Chelsea Cain's latest Gretchen Lowell thriller called Kill Me Twice. If anyone wants to pick up her books they should definitely read them in order. They are good. I've always listened to the on audio in the car and she has had perfect narrators for these stories. I read online that they are developing the first one in to a FX series.

I finished the Kindle Single and am now reading a memoir, Seven Days of Hospice: A Memoir by D. M. Wilmes.

Finished that book.. heartfelt and pretty well written.
Starting I think the title is Breaking Dawn. Another memoir.. author's mom was an addict, they were on the streets, she was on the streets but eventually graduated from Harvard (I'll check.. too lazy to go grab the kindle for now)

Finished Aunty Mame. Pretty darned good. Quite different from the films. But I still pictured Roz Russel as Mame in my head. LOL.

Today I read Susan Conant's The Barker Street Regulars. I read her dog lover mysteries years ago and thought that I would revisit. I'm glad I did and will reread more of them.
Next is Material Witness by Vannetta Chapman, her latest Shipshewana Amish mystery.

I just finished The Comfort of Lies by Randy Susan Meyers. I liked it a lot. It's very different from her first book The Murderer's Daughters.
I am also reading Roseanne Cash's memoir Composed.

Just read Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote. Fascinating book. A lot different than the movie.

Started The Devil's Workshop by Stephen Cannell. Just getting to know the characters, seems like a good fast paced read.

My charger is plugged in beside my bed and I always read before going to sleep, so I just make it a habit of plugging it in as soon as I finish with it then it's ready for tomorrow.

There are two really great books that I've read by Jeannette Walls. The Glass Castle, and Half Broke Horses..What a life she had with her Mother. These are true stories of what it was like to grow up with a crazy family.

Oh man, I've had The Glass Castle on my bookshelf for too many years! I must pull it out and dust it off. A friend, who also highly recommended it, gave me her copy some time back. I'll make it my next book after the current fluff I am reading.
I constantly juggle too many books.  Oh well, they make me happy.

After reading The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe and enjoying it so much, I couldnt wait to get started on her latest work, The House Of Velvet and Glass! But so far its just not as good as her first. Its ok and I am plodding along with it, but judge for yourself.I am hoping it picks up soon and lives up to the description on the cover!!

Cablejockey, I too loved her first book and started reading the second but had to put it back down. I just wasn't getting into it.
