DS and I saw this today. DS loved it - he'd never seen any of the MI's before today. I enjoyed it as entertainment; it was definitely easier to follow than the first couple, but I'm not sure this is a "plus" in a spy movie. However, the humor was more pronounced and I DID enjoy that.

Did either of you see it in Imax? Am wondering if it's worth the extra $.

My theatre has no I(or lie)Max. However I've read quite positive reactions from those who've seen it in Imax.

Some select Imax are showing a 6 minute Dark Knight Rises preview.

Our local theater doesn't have Imax either; sorry to be of no help.

Saw it today. Not imax, decided it wasn't worth the extra $ and I think that was the right decision. Very enjoyable film. Cruise oozes charisma from the screen. Enjoyed the humor and action. Can't wait for the next one!

And very small spoiler for Lost Sawyer fans:

He's barely in the film, maybe 1 minute tops! Disappointing in that regard.

Brenda - I was bummed after the opening sequence (short & so good.....) but his name is in the opening credits and he did have a second scene (flashback) later on in the film. Too bad, Josh Holloway looks GREAT with short hair, in a secret agent role.

Well, rats, I wish I had known who the actor was. I might have watched it a bit more closely. I knew he was really good looking but didn't snap to the fact that I had seen him before.

Nooooo, he needs the long hair. He needs to be able to gently push it back over his face while looking ruggedly dimpley handsome.

Just saw it today, what a great ride! Definitely need to see it on big screen to get the full effect. No coffee needed, seriously. lol

Sawyer or Josh Holloway looked HOT with the short hair and clean shaven face!!!
