Very violent. Slow pacing. Lots of awkward pauses. Very high ratings but not my kind of movie. I should have read a review but didn't want any spoilers. Wouldn't have mattered probably because a highly rated, violent movie such as Quintin Tarantino's are quite good in my book (except Resevior Dogs) so I guess the ultra slow pacing was the turn off for me. No witty Tarantino banter. In fact not much talking at all especially from Gosling's character.

I was amazed to find out that the main character was Ryan gosling, watched the entire movie without even realizing it was him.

I thought it was very good.
