It took me most of the show to figure out who the bad guy really was. I was shocked.

We were due for the # to be a person who was going to do evil; but this one probably fooled everyone. Now we'll be skeptical & looking more closely. Every "victim" will be a potential bad guy in disquise for us.

Wasn't that the same actor who played Elliot, the fashion photographer,from the show 'Just Shoot Me' with David Spade and George Segal, a much plumper and older Elliot of course?

He also plays the squad leader on Flashpoint - a strategic response unit that goes into hot situations. Yeah, had me fooled too.

On the pilot episode wasn't the "victim" actually the bad guy (Lady)?

Yes, Lazylu, on the first episode, the number was a lady DA who we were led to believe was a potential victim of foul play, but turned out to be the ringleader/tried to frame/murder the deputy DA.

Well, being a Monk fan, I suspected the teacher was bad because he reminded me of a guy on Monk who seemed really nice but was a killer.

I think the guy that got shot(on the boat) was in the series Dollhouse. He was awesome in that(if it was indeed him).

I liked the shout outs this episode.
First, to "The Count of Monte Cristo", in which Jim Caviezel played the lead, Edmond, in the 2002 version. I liked his little smirk when they were talking about the hero of the story.
