Kathie Lee's show is one hour of the four hour Today Show. It used to be Kathy Lee & Hoda until Hoda was upgraded to first hour of the Today Show . . . after Matt was canned.

Oh Regis and Kathy Lee have spoken about the whole Regis leaving the show on her show. Was not his idea, he asked if he could be a guest host some time and was told no. He called Kelly since then, calls were never returned. they are not friends.
I used to watch her show because I was walking dogs at that time, and was getting ready while her show was on and nothing else was worth watching at that hour and Hoda made Kathy Lee bearable.

I don't watch Live often. Currently Maria Menounos is subbing for Kelly. Kelly had better watch out or show will be Live With Maria and Ryan (or Ryan and Maria). I like Maria . . . more than Kelly.

I use to love her but not so much anymore. I think after the Michael Strahan thing and then I read where she was pot off by Regis. Rumors, I know.

Not all rumors. Reegis was cohosting with Kathy Lee on her show and said after he left with Kelly she got an agreement he would never be on the show again. Kathy Lee seemed pretty happy to have him on. He was a co host with her several times.

I used to really like Kelly. A long time ago. Then she was super disgustingly rude to Clay Aiken and everyone since then she makes my stomach turn.

Ah Julie, but do you know the rest of the story? I was at a private Clay concert and he was asked abut what happened afterwards, she was so sweet called and said it was all a misunderstanding, said she would have him on the show to make up, and never took a call from him after.

I ran acrossed this the other day and watched . I loved Regis and Kelly and even Kelly and Michael. One day I just stopped enjoying Kelly,can’t put my finger on it,just don’t like her personality. I’ve only seen a few Kelly and Ryan shows, one of them in person.

Thanks, Lakecat. I have Sling now, so I don't get ABC. I saw the thread for this show, yesterday, and I realized that I haven't heard anything about this show for what seems like years. Well, since covid, everything seems like years to me. I've totally lost all sense of time.

I believe they had a huge fallout when the powers that be at ABC offered Michael another show (Strahan and Sarah, maybe?) and Kelly was pissed because she had to find out about it after the fact. This happened in the Spring (I don’t remember the year). Michael was not going to leave Kelly and Michael until September, but the relationship ended sooner than expected so he left much earlier.
I used to love her show, but she became so much more snarkier than ever with her “revolving door” of different guys to become
her sidekick.

I rarely watch the show because I never warmed up to Kelly but I admit that this is the first time I have ever liked Ryan Seacrest, lol. Couldn't watch him at all before! Funny how our tastes continually take various turns. I'm thinking it's because he's just more natural in this type of setting.
