Have you all seen him without his mustache???...just doesn't look right or natural.

I liked the terrorist/undercover Muslim angle. I imagine there are many Muslims that want to put a stop to the terrorism that has polluted the world's minds with regards to their religion.

Maybe it is not the mustache that I don't like, but it is dyed too black. Dyed black hair makes older people look older. JMO

I thought the far-fetched part was the Commissioner reading poetry to an undercover cop that they didn't want anyone to know was an undercover cop and having one guy (his son) be the only cop in the know on this emergency and excluding the guy's partner.
I do really like this show, just wasn't impressed last week.

Yeah, I can see that far-fetched part. I like that Jackie figured it out at the end, though.

I agree about the commissioner visiting and reading to the undercover guy. Talk about blowing someone's cover!

I never liked Tom or Magnum PI. He never did float my boat. But I like him here.

Agree the poetry reading thing was silly, and, yes, the mustache is way too dark--as is the hair. Still, I'm enjoying the show.

Blue Bloods is same channel as Survivor, so that shouldn't cause a problem. My dilemma was Blue Bloods and Top Chef, but since we don't have Bravo any more, we just watch TC the next day on Youtube.

:-) Glad to help. We have two tivos, but I use one upstairs w/only one line/one recording at a time, so I have to pick and choose, too. DH and DS have control of the downstairs tivo in their man cave - I enter only when absolutely required to tell them food is on the table! LOL

I love this show, too. I started watching it because I really love Donnie Wahlberg and he hasn't disappointed. It's a great cast and good writing. I love the family dynamics.

Sportsfan, college basketball is on for the next few weeks. No new Blue Bloods for a while.

I was unhappy to read that they are going to change the concept of the show to more of a procedural cop show (just like all of the rest of the cop shows) and focus less on the family. Too bad.

Just what we need -- another procedural cop show. Boo! They are fools and idiots! The family dynamics are what make this show special.

This is from the Celebrity Cafe:
As reported by TV Guide, the married couple (who created the show) left over creative differences with CBS, which is looking to make the show more procedural and less focused on character.
