It has been so boring the last few years, yet I keep watching it. So, the only way to wean me off of it, thus saving myself 5 hours per week to watch something else, is to cancel it.
Truly, it is only fitting that it should be canceled while Erica still looks great. It would be terrible to watch her age actually catch up with her looks.
I'll miss Tad and Erica. On the bright side, maybe we'll never have to see Ryan again.

I sent a letter saying that if the show is cancelled I will not watch what is put in it's place and I will contact the sponsors and boycott their products.

The word now is that the show is not being cancelled, but I just read the following....
AMC stars including Eakes, Vasi, and Ricky Paull Goldin (Jake Martin) have taken to Twitter to tell fans to let ABC know in a respectful, courteous manner that they want the show to continue. Fans are urged to call 818.460.7477 for ABC's automated feedback line -- and then enter the following numbers at the prompts: 1, 2, 3, and 255. This will allow fans to leave a recorded message to express their love of All My Children.

Thanks for posting, too. I called the other day. I saw the number on soapcentral. I hope it helps. I am sure the actresses and actors wouldn't be asking for help if there wasn't a reason, despite what ABC is saying.

Wow -- I must admit that I haven't watched them in years but they were a staple of high school, college, and when my kids were little. I wonder what ABC will put in their place.

Me too Escapee! I Tivo all 3 ABC soaps. I have been deleting AMC for a while, but OLTL has been good and they are bringing back a favorite actor.
I will get over the above 2, but I will throw a FIT if they mess with my GH!!!

I haven't watched All My Children in a long time but I remember when it first started all those years ago. It's sad. I watch The Young and the Restless but how much longer will that stay on?

I don't watch AMC anymore either, but I am still sad. I think they should just do a huge rewind!! I would FOR SURE, NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, watch it then!!!

This is awful news! It seemed as if TPTB were determined to drive AMC into the ground and cancell it! And to replace it with such cheap garbage shows is an insult to everyone who watched these soaps.
