Kudos to the actor who plays Raj -- he was great last night, especially in the scene where he interviewed for an astrophysicit's job, started to fall apart when a woman walked in, had a quick slug of sherry to maintain his poise, and then blew it all by drinking one sherry too many -- his body language, facial expressions and vocal mannerisms repeatedly changed on a dime in that long scene, and he was brilliant throughout it.

Last week was an improvement. This week I had a few guffaws. I am hopeful.

And I agree, Raj is a gem. They all are.

I loved seeing Will Wheaton "pop" up in BBT. I always wondered what happened to him.

Calling your grandmother "MeeMaw" (I've also heard "MawMaw"), is SUCH a Southern thing.

Another funny episode. Will Wheaton and My mother is worse than your mother.
Just what do you suppose Leonard googled?

I love how they are featuring Howard a bit more this season - he's a tremendous character with huge comedic potential in this role. Funny funny funny.
And I have to give credit to these writers! I really want to see them win an Emmy over 30 Rock next year.

Just started watching season one. I enjoyed the first disk, but now find it kind of a 'one note song', but I'll give it a few more episodes before I give up. Maybe it will eventually win me over.

Monday's episode is the one that I went to the taping of. (Not correct grammar, but hey, it's the weekend!). Interestingly, it was taped the week *before* the Wil Wheaton ep.

Two words: "Kite Ho!"

Now that I think of it, I am very annoyed, almost pissed that this week is a repeat. Not just because the show has only been back on for a month but because for the 2nd year in a row there is no Halloween episode! These characters crave costumes. I realize we just had a comic book store episode but what fun a Halloween episode with the comic book store characters would be. Captain Sweatpants, Lonely Larry, Stuart and others. Penny could bring some female friends. Or the University could have a party with Dr. Gablehauser and Leslie Winkle and the oompa lumpas of science from Howard's department.

Grrr, I feel cheated. Bring me the heads of Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady!

This tv week is a bit of a shock with all the reruns, I've been taping two or three shows at once on some nights, and this week there's nothing! (OK, not actually nothing, but it feels like it!)

Remember the one episode they did last year w/the costumes? It was hilarious! The least they could do is re-run THAT one instead of one we saw about 3 weeks ago. :-(

I really dislike when shows do that, Teach. This weekend, SNL reran their Sept 26 show. For heaven's sake, it's only October.

Looks like they're showing one from last year.

Maybe because this week is the start of the World Series? SNL usually goes 2-3 new ones, then 1 repeat, 2-3 new, 1 repeat. Can't believe the first repeat was the worst of this season though (Megan Fox, really???.
