Hobbs, it was hilarious. His laugh and his smile can crack me up. No words necessary.

Jim Parsons deserves an Emmy and a Peoples Choice Award for this role. Priceless!

It was a crime that he wasn't nominated last year. I think he should submit the episode where he could be batman but had trouble keeping Penny's secret. It was one of the first episodes of the season.

Jim Parsons is the next generation's David Hyde Pierce. Absolutely hilarious with perfect timing.

I think they ALL deserve an award. They are each so funny in their own way. I laugh until my stomach hurts! If I laugh out loud at a show, that means it is very good!!! Love this show!!!

Ahhh I was so sad when Penny shut the door and whispered "It means I don't want you to go".

Can't wait for September!

Unfortunately, Sheldon's father is dead. Perhaps an uncle?

Absolutely loved the Knock, knock, knock, Penny.
Knock, knock, knock, Sheldon.

22 episodes suck. I remember when tv shows, not reruns, ran from September thru May.

So Big Bang was the finale, but How I met Your Mother was not? No wonder I'm all confused.

Yeah, weird that, Hobbs. I was thinking HIMYM wasn't that funny for a finale, then realised it wasn't.

I missed the first 8 minutes - how did Sheldon get the trip to the arctic?

His boss/supervisor asked him to go. There was a bit of a joke about whether he asked him to go to get rid of him, or whether he thought he was just perfect for the job (or more likely, both).

Kitt, I thought he had applied for and been awarded a grant, to study mono-cules at the North Pole (in some way this may prove String Theory).

Of course his boss may have endorsed his grant proposal just to get rid of him.

But it is because he was awarded a grant -- which included the money for a research team -- that he was able to pay for his friends to go with him.

Can't believe we have to wait four months for a new episode, this is easily my favourite show.

I know the wait stinks, but 4 months is really short. Heck, on some of my cable shows we have had to wait almost 2 years for a new show.

I love it that so many here love this show. It is my favorite comedy.

I bought the complete 1st season and sent it to my daughter in Turkey, she is in the Air Force. She said almost everyone there is now enjoying her DVD's of BBT and they love it also. They have already requested I send season 2 as soon as it is released.
