Maybe the actor wants to retire. He's 79 (I actually thought he was older) so perhaps he's had enough.
I wish they'd tell us what's meant to be wrong with him! You'd think with this being tv land, if he told someone what it was he could find a specialist with a miracle cure ;).

I wondered if that was new, or if they just started reshowing an old one. I wouldn’t have thought the BnB team would have wanted him to do new stuff. Unless it means the character is leaving…
By the way, the guy who plays Wyatt has left, I guess that’s why Liam went to Finn to moan this week.

What did I miss? Where is Pammy? I remember the phone call a few eps ago where we only heard Charlie's side and Pammy seemed a bit cold to him. I mean from what we could tell by Charlie's reaction. But where is she?

Naja, I thought it couldn't go on the way it has.
Thorne today looks older than his older brother new-Ridge! Thorsten Kaye is 57, Winsor Harmon is 60.
Made me look up some other ages, John McCook is 79, whereas the old Ridge Ron Moss is 71! Katherine Kelly Lang is 62. Donna (Jennifer Gareis) is 53, Katie (Heather Tom) is 48.
I wonder why they cast old Ridge and Brooke 8-12 years older than they should have been, relative to the others.

And really, the only TWO surgeons are the patient’s daughter and grandson in law? I mean I know it’s a soap opera, but how unrealistic can ya get?

The grandson is RJ ("Ridge Jr"), Ridge's son with Brooke. The Asian girl with him is Luna, who became an intern this summer, and just so happens to be Finn's cousin.
They're dressed up as Eric wanted to throw a party for everyone, then at the party he collapsed when he realised everyone knew he was sick. Not that he was that far away from collapsing when he didn't know they knew he was sick.
For some reason Eric's doctor (possibly oncologist, they haven't made clear), actually passed the case to Finn!! Who as far as we know is a surgeon with no specialty in oncology.
And if there's surgery involved, wouldn't they purposely not give it to someone related to the patient?!

Also where was RJ for about the last three years? I’ve kinda watched this show (but not for the past few months) but I’d say kinda regularly for the past three-four years.

He came back a few months ago, he'd been a social influencer, which I guess is a full time job(?!) and means you don't see any of your family for multiple years. Then during the recent visit, Eric needed someone to draw for him as his hands were shaking, and suddenly RJ could perfectly draw all Eric's designs for him.
At a rough count, Eric has seven:
Ridge with Stephanie (although his bio-dad was Massimo Marone)
Thorne, Felicia and Kristen with Stephanie
Rick and Bridget with Brooke
Marcus with Donna, although I guess that's a stepson.
I'm just watching today's show now, and the organ they needed for the complicated transplant just seemed to be instantly available!

I thought she was pretty good as Taylor. That's too bad. But it sounds like she was offered what the old Taylor had. Leave for long stretches and come back, over and over. Instead of a being a cast regular.
About today's show: Did I see a little spark between Bridget and Finn?

I liked her as a character, but she didn't seem anything like the old Taylor, she was so much more light hearted.
Lol, I thought their connection was meant to be professional admiration mixed with emotion, but that would be interesting! I guess Finn is Bridget's nephew-in-law.
Do you think that was a new (very short) scene with Stephanie, or cut from some old footage?
