Having read some of Karin Slaughter's Will Trent series, I tuned into the new show Will Trent. Because I had pictured some characters so differently, I wasn't sure after the first episode how I felt about it. I gave it another chance and after three episodes, I am completely hooked and I give credit to the great cast that has won me over. Of course this probably means the show will be canceled because that is what happens every time I like a show, lol!

New sci-fi show starts tonight on SYFY.
I guess they're moving to another planet when bad stuff happens and wakes up everyone from their cryogenic naps a year early....and most of the survivors are teens that have to continue the mission.

Lol I thought it was me. I agree it was kind of mediocre. But...I always give a show a 3 or 4 episode "chance" before I give up. However gotta say, that method usually backfires on me. Because by then I end up watching it anyway. Even if it's bad. That's why I still watch Big Sky. Ha!

Besides poor script, it has an interesting basis. Why were 3 officers seeded with the hoi palloi? Are people who they say they are? Is there enough left of the ship?
Now they just have to hire writers who can pace and produce sensible explainations.

Just the description of that show reminds me of the plot of The 100. That was a great show, till it kind of went off the rails in the last season.

When I said in my previous post...that I get stuck watching stuff that's bad. I meant La Brea not Big Sky lol...although the last season of Big Sky was not at the level of the previous seasons. Big Sky was still a few notches up from LA Brea. When Brian Geraghty and John Carrol were written out, it left a big void.

Dead Like US ABC. Cute...but kinda silly. Not at the level of Ghosts or So Help Me Todd. But definitely enjoyable.
