Gods Favorite Idiot. It got panned by the professional critics and raked across the coals by regular ppl. I liked it. It’s silly but I found it light and entertaining. And, Melissa MC

Just watching the documentary Keep Sweet:Pray and Obey.

It's about Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (FLDS), and it's leader Warren Jeff's.

I just don't understand these cults where the men in charge have 30 "wives" and 70 children etc. But what really made me cringe was when the father died the crazy son then married all of the father's wives. Bad enough he married his aunts...but also his mother.

Anyway it's quite interesting. They interview many of the followers. It's also quite sad.

I'm always amazed how these cults form. The people willing to give themselves and their children over to some stranger who just wants power over them!! It happens so often I can't help but wonder if a certain segment of the population likes being controlled!

not a series but a documentary I watched on Netflix "Rumble" about native american influence on music. Amazing. Who knew Robbie Robertson of the Band was native american. Jimi Hendrix mother was half native american. It shows some great musicians and how native music influenced their styles and music.

I laughed like a loon watching Man VS Bee this evening. It was silly and amusing.
Rowan Atkinson can be quite funny (Blackadder) and each of the 9 episodes are 10 - 15 minutes so it was a quick enjoyable binge watch.

I can't find it. What is it about? Closest I can find is "Keep Breathing" which is about a plane crash in the wilderness with one survivor and that's getting dreadful reviews. 38% on Rotten Tomatoes.

We've been watching a doc called "D.B. Cooper: Where Are You?", about the first guy who ever hijacked a commercial airliner, in 1971. He didn't hurt anyone, but he got away with $200k (equal to about a million in today's money). He used a parachute and jumped out of the plane somewhere between Portland and Las Vegas, nobody knows for sure. He was never found, his body/parachute was never found. Nobody really knows what happened to him. It's an American legend.

I was in high school when this happened, but I was busy being a teenager so I have no memory of it, but I've certainly heard a lot about it since. It's fascinating.

OG, they found some of the money, not all. It's still a mystery and there's a whole industry built around it. They even have a "Cooper Con" gathering every year in Portland.

I looked it up. Of the $200K, only $5,800 was found.

I have been binge watching a delightful gem of a show, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, on Netflx. Character driven, sweet and well acted, I hope others give it a try.

It is a Korean production so am utilizing closed captioning. I actually keep closed captioning on often as I watch a lot of foreign tv.
