That's a series I was actually, consciously looking forward to. Most shows that I follow are ones I tend to enjoy while I'm sitting there watching it but then I forget about 'em the second I turn off the TV....until the next season returns.
"Why Women Kill" was a big exception to that habit.

Same here. I wonder if they had trouble with getting casts for these stand alone seasons, and I'm guessing it takes a lot of money to start from scratch.

The Time Traveler's Wife? Damn. But I expected it. I wish they would at least do a movie to wrap up some issues.
I wonder how many excellent TV series were dumped because of not enough profit...but, given a chance, would have gone on to become another "Lost" or "Game of Thrones"...
ETA - At least there were only 6 eps in season 1. Had they gone a couple of seasons and it stayed this good, I'd be apoplectic. (a word I've run across in many books but never needed to use before.)

Night Sky canceled after that great season one finale? The ending that promised a whole new path about where this unique show was going?
I'm starting to feel like anything that doesn't fit into an already tried and true "plot formula" doesn't stand a chance.

Quite disappointed that Night Sky was cancelled. The pairing of Sissy Spacek and JK Simmons was excellent.

Yay, Evil!!! Love that show. It's creepy and funny at the same time.
Sad for Night Sky. Hubby says Amazon just could't afford Spacek and Simmons. It was a great show, though.

(2009) staring Rachel McAdams. It was very good.
