Bosch is freaking amazing. It was the first series I ever binge-watched on Amazon Prime when I got it a few months ago. I binge-watched all six seasons in less than three weeks. I would come home every night from work and watch 3-4 episodes and then would watch all weekend.

Scoot, I will give you one piece of advice. The first three episodes in S1 are just "meh" but it is setting up for the rest of the series - to give you an idea who is who. That it got seven seasons, and the sequel is going to imdb.tv tells you it is worth sticking with.

I couldn't agree more about Bosch! Hands down, my favorite streaming show. I can't quite put my finger on what made it so perfect for me... it just ticks all the boxes of what I like in a tv show.

I even think it might've gotten better w/ each season.

I am watching Panic. Very fast paced and even though its based on young adult reading, I find it quite interesting! https://www.epicreads.com/blog/panic-amazon-series/

Any others you would recommend?

The only two shows I watched on Amazon were Bosch and Goliath (with Billy Bob Thornton). The first two seasons of Goliath were great... the third season not so much but I will watch when the fourth season comes out.

I also watched two movies on Amazon: Honest Thief (with Liam Neeson) - excellent movie!!! And "The Big Lie" which was also pretty good. The Big Lie did not end the way I thought it would... so there's that.

We've been watching Absentia on Amazon Prime. It stars Stana Katic ("Kate" from Castle) as an FBI agent who was abducted and presumably murdered by a serial killer. She was declared dead and her family moves on, her husband remarries and her little boy grows up. Six years later she returns and must try to figure out who kidnapped her, since she doesn't have any memories of her time in captivity, other than being tortured. It's really riveting, although difficult to watch at times. It's a different role for Stanic, who normally portrays the perky wisecracker. She is very dark and (understandably) troubled in this show. It's very good.

I gave up Absentia in the middle of season 2. It seemed so exciting season one, and then it couldn't keep my attention after that.

Okay, I started watching Absentia last night. It's interesting but we'll see if it holds my attention. I need something until S7 of Bosch starts.

Going back to Absentia, after finishing season 1, I don't think we'll continue with the next two seasons. It was interesting, but it took a long time to wind up and took us down so many rabbit holes. We did keep guessing all along, but it was stretched out too much. Could have easily been 6 or 8 episodes and would have been much better.

I was the same with Absentia. I really enjoyed the first season but couldn’t get into the second at all.

Well, I only have two more episodes of S1 of Absentia to watch tonight. I have enjoyed it. Another friend of mine also said she didn't care for the second season. I'll give it a shot. If the second season doesn't hold my attention, I'll move onto something else until S7 of Bosch starts back up in two weeks.

Scooterrific...it is a British drama/comedy series a company that 'fixes' celebrity and/or wealthy peoples dirty laundry.

It sounds like the original premise for Scandal.
