Is anybody else watching this? It's about a young male doctor from Syria, whose parents and younger sister were taken into custody and put in a camp in Syria. Brother became an outcast, parents killed, he was able to get himself and his much younger sister out of Syria and to the USA, east coast, where he worked in a restaurant until a drunk driver crashed his truck into the restaurant, critically injuring most of the employees and customers. Bashir Hamed saves all or most of them, including the top doctor at the top hospital by drilling a hole in his head to relieve cranial pressure. Top doctor survives and give Bashir a job as a doctor.

Not on last Tuesday in Chicago area due to football. Was scheduled for tonight, Thursday. Not on due to special Dateline. Now scheduled for two hours next Tuesday 8:00 - 10:00 Central.

NBC didn't air it for 2 - 3 weeks. Now it's on Saturdays at 7:00 Central.

I've watched it from the beginning -- season 1, last year. A little confused at first. Then realized it's Canadian. Has a U.S. network ever regularly aired a Canadian series before? I like it. Can't miss show for me.

Well, It takes place in Canada, which is interesting. In one episode someone mentioned where Jimmer lives, which I know from our zooms, and of course Toronto. And other provinces mentioned.
I have caught up. I love the show, but never enjoy the parts in medical shows where doctors have to fight to give good care, or where Bashir is threatened with blackmail over not being able to provide medical school transcripts from Syria.
But, yes, very good show.

There was a show a few years back called "Motive," and it was from Canada. We loved it. It would start with a murder, they showed who did it, but then you would have to follow along with the detectives to find out the motive. It was a really good show.

I watched all of Season 1 of Transplant and enjoyed. Will start watching Season 2 tomorrow on NBC.COM. Thanks for the heads up.

I liked both Motive and Transplant. Canada has produced some very good shows.
