Can't believe I actually cried again watching today's episode. Thought I'd gotten over it years ago, but somehow Nick's tears always seem to have that effect on me!

Ive really been enjoying watching the old episodes. I haven't watched Y&R in a few years, I just got tired of seeing the same old thing, and then it actually got to the point where I didn't know alot of the characters! But these old episodes has made me want to start watching again.

Glad it was back. It was mostly a recap show today.

Okay, my little musings..

Michelle Stafford is acting more like her crazy GH Nina character than the old Phyllis. The old Phyllis was a bit meaner, not so goofy. Ordering dinosaur bones off the internet, really? And Nick, yes it is about the sex not the love.

The other storylines are rather boring.

Nikki looked like she had on a bad wig today.

Didn’t she tho Heck? I noticed it on Monday, but today was really bad. Wonder how bad her hair got during quarantine? It would still look better than that wig!

I agree, her real hair has to look better than that wig!

My dvr didn't record the show today. I don't know why. Was it preempted? But it usually records the preemption, too.

It wasn't preempted for me, but you didn't miss anything. Adam started to have memories (and took off, we don't know where). Chelsea complained to Ray about Adam seeing Sharon. Billy found out that Katie is allergic to bee stings and rushed her to the hospital (she fine). Nate and Amanda had a breakfast date.

I read on Twitter yesterday that Nikki is in the wig because they didn't have their full beauty staff on board yet. They said her real hair will be appearing soon.

Thanks, Starr. Still don't know what happened. Today's show felt more like a throwaway. Had nothing to do with anything.

Why is Jack relegated to looking for Dina's hidden stories? It is enough already.

Billy, yuck. I miss Billy Miller.

It all is just boring me.

Who didn't see Elena and Nate happening?

Am I the only one who would like to see Billy and Victoria get their comeuppance? So holier than thou. Yes, I know that Adam as done some shady stuff but he was a kid when he killed that man attacking his mom.

I could care less about Phyllis and her money problems, Summer and Kyle, some stupid necklace storyline because how many secrets is their mother supposed to have?

Lol Mamie! You sound like me when I'm watching Y&R, wondering why I'm still watching. I guess it's just a habit and the hope that a new, interesting story will be written one day. It is interesting to see which actors can get close to which and which have to keep their distance.

Mak, that's it! I wonder too and watching the distancing is the best. Now we know that the actors playing Sharon and Adam are together so they are closer than he is when acting with Chelsea.

Hahahaha, I watch for the distancing on all the soaps now, it is the most entertaining part of the shows.

Lol, it is more entertaining than the stories! There have been times that a character seriously needs a hug but nobody moves towards them. It looks so odd. My favorite is the make-out scenes where one person leans in followed by the other leaning in, each in their own camera shot....like Elena and Nate did. I don't know if anyone on B&B has touched yet!

Nothing is more glaringly obvious about distancing than in the scenes between Rey and Sharon. They get good news, they do not move towards each other. They get bad news, they do not move towards each other. I bet they are dying to get Sharon and Adam together since they are actually together so that they can have some love scenes.

I cried too even though I was disappointed at how unreal it was and how unnatural the reactions were. For one thing, they should have been worried she was going to fall out of the chair! It was so unnatural that none of them moved towards her but all just watched from a distance. I've heard that some soaps are using mannequins for love scenes. That must be really challenging for the actors.
