LOL Pschrfhd, we won't tell on him.
One was Sheila's sister who had surgery to look like Lauren. She and the kids were avenging their mother. That much I do remember!
Half the time I am watching saying Oh Yeah, I remember them, kind of.

Hecka - there was a different actress who played Ashley back in the day. Very similar look, but definitely not Eileen Davidson.

Brenda Epperson played her for about 7 years. I think it was about the time Eileen went off to Days of Our Lives.

I was thinking after watching the past few days that I am surprised that they haven't brought back Daniel's daughter into the picture. She could be age progressed and wouldn't it be a kick to have Grandma Phyllis?

I was sure last week when they covered the Abbott family that they would show Colleen's death. IMO that would have been a much better choice than the lame Christmas episode they showed last Friday.
The only thing I can figure is maybe they're planning a "Tragedy Week" for all the characters who have sadly passed on: Cassie, Colleen, Brad, etc.

The kiss between the guests and Danny and Cricket were more romantic than the kiss between Danny and Cricket.

Mak1 - I had the same reaction. Found myself thinking no wonder Traci got an Emmy compared to the acting "skills" of her partners in those scenes today. Not true of course; I'm sure she totally deserved it.

I watched it and yes, Beth Maitland deserved her award, for sure, and yes, the other actors were awful. Cricket, poor sweet, nepotism reigns, Cricket. Danny, the hair is on point though. And I am watching thinking Cricket, dial 911. I know it was in service back then. Why in the world would you call Danny first, in your cute little preppy outfit?
And boy have the backgrounds while driving improved for the better!

They typically film 4-6 weeks ahead.
I was wondering why Cricket wouldn't prop the door open instead of running around breaking windows. And why wouldn't Danny say he was on the way and she should call 911 now....since she apparently couldn't think of doing that herself? Beth outdid herself with her scene.

I do remember the Brooks family. I was working and couldn't watch back then, so I think I started watching in 1976. I wish they would show the early shows with Victor. He started out as a bad man, possibly abusive to Julia. Remember when he had Julia's lover locked in a dungeon in the basement? lol

I remember today's episode. I remember being at my mom's and watching Katherine's bandages removed. Didn't she always have the best fingernails?! And the old Jack was such a great bad guy.

Heckagirl - I sympathize. It's so hard to keep up with all of Victor's ex-wives, not to mention all the actors who have played Adam Newman.
