btw, I have been posting the direct pages to the Limetown episodes so everyone without facebook accounts can get to them easily without having to go through through all those pages asking you to sign in. Without an account, you can click them away and get to the video pages, but this is just faster.

Yes.. I wish I liked the reporter more than I do, but it is compelling enough to finish...

For anybody with Spectrum TV/internet, tomorrow the one season reboot of "Mad About You" comes out. Tuesday, Nov 19.

I'm rather annoyed it's not on one of the major streaming services.

Anyone subscribed to Apple+ ? Not sure I will continue with it, there is not a lot to watch without paying extra. Maybe next year their catalogue will be larger. Anyway, one of their shows... For All Mankind... I can not recommend enough. I thought it was just brilliant and entertaining. What if the Russians had been the first to put a human on the moon? How would that have changed the American space program?

Speaking of AppleTV, a few weeks ago they started a show called "The Morning Show".

It's soooo good! It's a drama about morning news show starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, and Reese Witherspoon (many more). The male anchor of the show (Steve Carell) was fired because of a "Me Too" situation, which leaves Jennifer alone as anchor. Then we are introduced to a bit crazy Reese, a freelance reporter, who just went viral after a crazy rant when she didn't know she was being recorded. It's really good.

I don't have appletv, but I had the opportunity to see this show.

This show actually premiered last summer, but I just found it.

xFinity recently gave us EPIX channels and EPIX ondemand. While perusing the ondemand, I found they have a few "original" shows so we started one.

Perpetual Grace, LTD

It stars a few big names, like Ben Kingsley, Jimmi Simpson, Luis Guzmán, Terry O'Quinn, Jacki Weaver, and more!

Rotten Tomatoes gave it 88%, and I agree. It's so good, but I can't place it in a genre. It's dark, some is funny, some is serious, all of it is weird. I'm only up to ep 3 but sometimes I feel like it has a strangeness similar to Fargo.

The short synopsis says:
Perpetual Grace, LTD follows "James, a young grifter, as he attempts to prey upon Pastor Byron Brown, who turns out to be far more dangerous than he suspects."

Here is a 3 minute trailer.

Ooh, that looks just like a cup of crazy tea that I would enjoy. It has Damon Herriman too. Yay! Thanks for the post, Naja.

I didn’t bc I’m not a big fan of the star and can not see him in the role. Did you like it? If it’s good, I’d watch.

I just posted something in the "Cancellations and Renewals" thread but I probably should've posted it here.

It's about the start of the new Star Trek series called "Star Trek: Picard" starring Patrick Stewart.

It premieres on Jan 23, 2020.

It's on CBS All Access, the same streaming service where ST Discovery is. (I just realized that shortening "ST Discovery" to it's initials only, like using "ST TNG" for "Star Trek The Next Generation" would make it become "ST D". LOL)

Anyhow...

It's set in 2033, 20 years after Picard's last ST movie appearance in a ST movie, "Nemesis (2002)".

It's already renewed for a season 2.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can't pass a "Star Trek anything".

This has potential! Patrick Stewart is one of my favorite ST actors and Jean-Luc Picard is one of the best characters.

The new sitcom "Indented" premiered this week on NBC and it was so much fun. All the stars are quality actors/comedians, and the story line is solid. Very Rich parents suddenly lose their fortune and have to go live with their son and his family. Fran Drescher and Steven Weber are the ex-rich parents, and hilarious Adam Pally is their son.

Did you see Tommy?? She's the chief police of Los Angeles and she is gay. I thought being a woman was already a big deal but also being gay are adding spice to it, although today it doesn't make a difference and the whole issue fell a bit flat on the pilot episode.
