Bummer about Man with a Plan. I'm a Liza Snyder fan.

I can't get over how much people love police, legal and medical type shows.

Thanks for the updates! Looking at that list, I'm surprised at how few CBS shows I watch. Do we know when ABC and NBC announce?

Within the next week, possibly rest of this week I think. All (most of?) the networks cancelled their big press events because of the virus, so it seems we wait until whenever they feel like making an announcement.

I like All Rise, altho it seems a little farfetched at times. I'm glad it was renewed.

I had been looking forward to Tommy but the reviews were not good so left it. But, the commercials kept pulling me back in and I was going to start viewing. Now I guess I have a decision to make. Lol

So glad Bob Loves Abishola and The Unicorn made the cut. Those are the only two on either list that I watch.

Project Blue Book and Knightfall cancelled by History Channel.

Project Blue Book sounded good. I might have watched it if I knew it existed.

If tonight really was the CBS end of Tommy, I hope Netflix picks it up. They left something hanging. Good SEASON finale.

Tommy: Cancelled; No Season Two for CBS' Cop TV Series. Tommy won't be back on patrol next season. CBS just announced that the network has cancelled the cop drama and won't be ordering a second season for the 2020-21 broadcast season.2 days ago

years and years ago there was a show called Jericho on CBS which had a huge following and fan base. So CBS cancelled the show and one of the stellar lines in the beginning of the show was when Gerald McRaney the patriarch of the show used the expression "nuts". So when CBS cancelled the show, a fan started an online petition getting donations from fans (myself included 5 bucks per donation) and delivered truckloads of peanuts to CBS headquarters on 51st street. CBS had no warning until trucks of peanuts arrived at their loading dock. CBS renewed the show for another year in answer to the 9 ton peanut delivery.

Maris I remember the peanut delivery. I loved Jericho. I wish a streaming service would pick up the option on the show and make new episodes.

I’ll never forget meeting April Parker Jones, the actress who played Darcy Hawkins, the wife of Lennie James’s character, Robert Hawkins.

It was during the first season and only the first 3 or 4 episodes had been shown. Seth (husband) and I went to one of our favorite breakfast restaurants here in L.A., Vivienne’s.

Shortly after we were seated, we looked up from our menus because our waitress had arrived to take our orders. Seth and I looked at her, then at each other, then back to her, our jaws dropped in surprise.

“Is something wrong?” she asked, sounding alarmed. “No!!” we replied. “We just can’t believe you’re our waitress - we just saw you on last night’s episode of Jericho! We love the show and you’re great on it.” We were so astonished that she was our server. She laughed and thanked us for the compliment and urged us to tell all our friends to watch the show, which we of course did. It really was thrilling and bizarre to have that encounter. She was very sweet and an excellent waitress - we left her a very nice tip, too (she deserved it)!
