Lizzo started out the show fabulously, then Alicia Keys did a marvelous acapella song with BoyZ II Men for Kobe... made me tear up a bit.
Next up was Gwen and Blake doing a very nice show.

Now Alicia Keys is sitting at a piano playing and talking about how hard the week has been but it is going to be a great year.
Says make it celebration in "his honor", Kobe, because he loved music.
Now she is singing a little medley acknowledging a lot of the singers in the room.

Jonas Brothers putting on a good show.... good production values! "What a Man Gotta Do"... lots of fun dancers, for a brief moment I was reminded of "hand jive" (in Grease I think).
So now we are finally having an award, LOL.

And now, the first part of the show where I don't have a clue, LOL.
I think Noah said it was Tyler the Creator, haven't ever heard of him and I don't know quite what this type of music is considered.
But it is quite odd to watch, kind of remind me of punk rock, blended with some other stuff.

Tyler the Creator reminds me of red dot or the banana ducted taped to the canvas painting...socially relevant but don’t get it.
