Sorry, yes, Syfy channel in the US. Don't Syfy shows often appear on Showcase in Canada? It'd be a shame if it were just Netflix. Assuming it's actually any good of course.

I'm halfway into the second episode on demand... it's a bit meh. The baddie is revealed immediately, so unless they're going to swap things up, it's basically just people tormented by the baddie for 10 episodes. And the first few minutes showed how it all ends.

That Eoin Macken looks so much like Michiel Huisman. I actually thought it was Michiel at first.
I put the first 2 eps on today as a background to what I was doing, and I enjoyed what I saw of it, but I don't have a total grasp of the story. I watched the "stay tuned after the show" bits, and that helped. I mainly decided to watch because I am a Gretchen Mol fan.

MARS season 2 over. The bad guys had the technology to go to Mars, but not to make their pods quake proof?

Ha, I thought it was me, Dipo, lol. Maybe it's cause I read a lot of urban fantasy with vampires, withces, shapeshifters, etc, but you always hop off the head! Nothing survives that, lol.

Good point Naja, but what would you think they were, surely he and his friends - in the movie - have seen a few zombie movies, hahahahaha.
I did enjoy it, I have it on right now while I get my day going.
But it's a good point they sort of screwed up... why, if they had 2 tsunami's didn't anyone come to help. Did I miss that explanation?

I have found a show on Amazon Prime Video that I hadn't seen before. The first few seasons were on SyFy and when they cancelled, Prome picked it up. It's called The Expanse. The tech is very good and the acting is too.

It’s based on a series of books. The books are very good, particularly for readers who enjoy hard science in their fiction. I’ve heard the show is good as well, though I haven’t watched it yet.
Interestingly, George R.R. Martin is a big fan. Of course, he may be influenced by the fact that he personally knows the authors.
