We watch NOTHING live, except for sports. We have no patience for commercials. We record everything. I have season passes set up for all our shows, so we never have to remember what night it's on. The only exceptions are competition shows like AI and DWTS. We'll wait till about a half hour into it (for a 2 hour show), so we can zap thru all the ads.
I put this show in my DVR because of Ryan Eggold. I've loved him since 90210 and The Black List. He's a great actor. Can play a good guy or a bad guy equally well (scary).
We also record The Rookie, solely because of Nathan Fillian. We enjoyed it. Yes, there are some unlikeable characters, but they're training police officers to stay alive and to keep their co-workers alive. We enjoyed how Nathan seemed to have a lot of common sense to bring to the job and took everything in stride. He's not as smart-allecky/know-it-all like he was in Castle. I love that he's playing a different character, but still very likeable.

I don't record anything. I don't mind the commercials some of them are funny some informative and some stupid, but they pay the bills for the shows I like. Didn't like Egold on the Black list so nice to see him play someone different. As far as the Rookies goes, like I said above, everyone's taste is different.

I enjoyed both New Amsterdam and the Rookie. I never watched Castle before so I am not familiar with the actor.

I record everything I don't want to miss. Try to watch it live. I often fall asleep during.

I record, but recently my DVR has started arbitrarily not recording some shows, even when it says it is recording.
I have some shows to watch and then need to swap out dvrs with Spectrum.

I'm still watching, too, Sea! I think it's gotten better. At first he was a little bit manic for my taste. He seems to have settled a bit.
I don't think that woman who's dating Dr. Reynolds knew that he had slept with Dr. Bloom. I think she just thought they were friends. You could see her face change when she found out they'd "slept together a couple of times." I think she's going to break up with him.

The chemistry between Helen and Max is strong. Hard to see them as just friends. He seems to connect better with her than his wife.
