I was also thinking about the very end. The very first show opened up with scenes of happy Starks. And that's how I think it will end, too.

Right now I am watching last season's finale, and Hound says something very ominous and foreboding to The Mountain. It's a very serious, yet almost cryptic.
"It's not how it ends for you, Brother. You know who's coming for you. You've always known".
Whomever Hound is referring to in that sentence is who is going to kill The Mountain. But that still leaves us not knowing. LOL

Color, all my family and close friends have been watching for many years and they were surprised that my DH and I weren't watching. So then about 2 summers ago, my DH and I started binge watching through HBO Go and we've been hooked ever since!
Our local newspaper printed out the suggested 10 episodes to binge before watching the final season. These episodes are in chronological order and will bring you to understand the chase for the Iron Throne.
If you're interested in knowing which episodes they recommend, I'd be happen to post them here.
