Season 3 premieres Sunday, January 13, 2019 on PBS Masterpiece. I think sometimes you get PBS things a little earlier in Canada though...

They say the season 2 finale is on tonight. If you haven't seen the earlier s2 episodes it looks like they have episodes 4 onwards online, but not eps 1-3.

I don't watch it, but wiki says season 4 is the last season.
It also says season 4 will have 18 episodes, so there's still quite a few left. Maybe what you heard is that there are only a few eps until the first half of the season is over.

Yeah, they're doing a mid season finale, then picking up again in January. I think there are two left before the break.

Well they kind of wrapped everything up by just trying every option they had to stop the asteroid, but then right at the end there was a huge cliffhanger about it maybe not being an asteroid after all...
