They are just destroying a core family, the Abbotts for no good reason. What is there to care about , in the show, if not the dynamics between the abbots and the newman families . Okay, so Ashley had a different father , but Jack too? And its not that I really care if Jack os a true Abbott, it is the dismantling of the family that bothers me.

It bothers the heck out of me as well. Jacks reason for existence right from the 1st episode was to make his father proud of him.
This is not right, it makes a complete mockery of John Abbot.

Well I think it is to show that you can't make assumptions; I don't feel it mocks John Abbot I think it is aimed at Jack and his higher than thou attitudes that he doesn't seem to be able to see in himself.
And with all the DNA tests out these days I think more and more people are finding the same issues.

It seems that folks back in the day were a bit more active and secretive than many people are willing to acknowledge. I keep reading about people who do the DNA23 test and don't want to be contacted by possible new family members.

Yeah he is paralyzed too.
I wonder way the police didn’t find the tapes Victor had of JT breaking into his safe and the one of him choking Victoria.
Why is Jack still in jail?

LMAO, Victoria is in Hawaii and is STILL wearing a business-type dress....she can't do shorts or a sundress or a bathing suit with a coverup. She is never really casual.
And now JT has basically kidnapped her and she doesn't even realize it. Since when do hotels have drawers that lock, and why couldn't she just bust that drawer open. I don't think she is a wimp surely she could just tip the thing over so it would break apart.

When my dad had a stroke he was paralyzed on his right side, but could talk okay. He asked me to lift his right arm up over his face. Then said not to drop it or he'd break his nose. He had to learn how to sign his checks with his left hand.

I am surprised he's actually dead. I kept expecting him to suddenly sit up!!
And I suppose Victor has a camera in that room as well (yuk!!!) and will eventually see this whole thing played out.

Well Starr I think he had to die, they couldn't really rehabilitate him and his storyline was going to have to end with him in prison, or dead.
But you are correct, I too kept thinking he was going to come to, and maybe he will and later in the month we will see and empty grave, LOL.

LOL, these guys are definitely going to give themselves away. Phylis and Victoria practically had signs over their heads when Billy picked up the poker.
And why in the world would Nikki grab the poker to go upstairs, they didn't know JT was up there, they just heard some banging around.

Nikki didn't bring the fire poker up from downstairs, it was in the bedroom with the fireplace up there.
I can't handle all the whispering going on. It's annoying.
Oh, and yeah, this storyline killing JT and covering it up - ugh. How long will that cooperation between these women last? A week, a month? Someone will make someone else mad and then try and blackmail. Again, ugh. At this point I'm watching because it's habit. And I keep waiting for something to happen that's good enough to be vested in - but it's not happening.
And, I agree with those above about tearing the Abbott family apart with the DNA/Dina storyline isn't fun either.

Come on, lets get that body dug up at the planting ceremony and get on with it.
The whole thing is stupid, they could have easily called 911 and explained the whole thing, I doubt Nikki would have seen a day of prison.
