I am interested in seeing this. I saw Sonequa Martin-Green and she said it has the first Asian Women in charge with a female first officer, and the first openly gay character. Oh and the Klingons are kind of scary looking!!!!

It will be on regular TV Sunday, then go online only.

I love all the Star Trek series, so if this one turns out to be good I will keep my CBS All Access account instead of canceling it after BB. I was looking up info on it and saw that CBS is offering a one week free trial.

Just an FYI for Canadians, on Sunday if you watch on CTV it looks like there is one ep. If you watch on Space it looks like there are two.

No!!!!!! It's going on CBS All Access?! I hate that!!! I refuse to pay for yet ANOTHER subscription service only to watch one TV show. I guess I won't be watching this one. Maybe I'll wait till it's on Netflix.

I hope that it is a good series. I understand the frustration of having to pay yet another monthly fee to see it.

We gave up on The Good Fight because we could only get it on CBS All Access. That streaming service is not compatible with our SmarTV. We can only watch it if we go into the other room and watch on a smaller TV with a Firestick (Amazon). Not worth the trouble. I think this is going to hurt their viewer numbers.

I've been curious about the ratings for this, too.

I think Netflix, Amazon, and HBO are different because they have so much original programming. What does CBS Access have in the original programming department? Just Star Trek and The Good Fight?

Btw, the first TWO episodes are premiering tonight but only the first one is free on network TV! I guess they figure that will prompt a lot of new customers signing up today.

I really hope the show gets rave critical reviews but their ratings are a bust so they'll be inclined to offer it on regular CBS TV. If it's a huge success, I can envision all our favorite shows on various different networks moving to a similar "<network> all access" set-up, each with its own fee. Can you imagine being expected to pay an additional $6/mo for access to The Walking Dead, another $6/mo for access to American Horror Show, another $6/mo for access to Suits, another $6/mo for <pick any other cable network you watch> for each of your other favorite TV shows?

Oh, I didn't know there was a second episode online tonight. Waiting to cancel my subscription in case I like the show.

But Karuuna that is a good idea to wait until they are all online and then watch the entire season.

We loved ST, but were disappointed by the first episode. Will not waste money to see any more. DH said that he might have given it another try if it was free.
