I thought it was smart and sweet for the presenter to dash down the steps to escort Ann Dowd, who was looking a bit dazed.

And lol at Dolly Parton for escorting the winner off stage, instead of the escorted lady.

I have never even heard of Last Week Tonight, what channel is it on? But I liked John Oliver on Comedy Central, at least I think he was on The Jon Stewart Show.

Yeah Kookliebird that was the only one I knew of, LOL. I have cable, but no HBO, Showtime, Hulu, Netflix, etc.

The big four networks are in a real Emmy drought. They almost never win any more.

They should call this the HBO Emmy Awards, I found the whole thing so boring, even the fashion was boring, 3 hours watched in 20 minutes. I don't have HBO and don't feel any interest in the winning shows. Why am I even watching this, I did not speed up for the In Memoriam, that one I watched and it's always a bit sad to see popular actors gone but they're somehow eternal when we see them again in movies and make me feel they're still alive.

I don't have cable, Showtime, HBO, Hulu or Netflix, but I watch a lot of entertainment shows. I was happy that the guy from This is Us won, but thought Jack should have won from that show.
