This week is when all the networks announce their new shows and schedules for the fall- figured It'd be interesting to see what kind of situations are coming up.
NBC and Fox's schedules have been released- ABC, CW and CBS will be up later this week.

(NBC is certainly taking a chance here- if ABC's schedule doesn't change, This is Us will be going up against the final season of Scandal. This is Us is also going to be in the post Super Bowl slot...so they're hoping it doesn't have a sophomore slump)

Yes, basically (not the NFL ON FOX of course)...stuff about the new shows will come out this week too. (The Gifted is another Marvel show for example)

geesh - way too much moving around this coming season.... Blacklist to 8pm on Wednesday??? Going against Survivor fans...This is Us to a Thursday??
Blindspot moved for third time in three seasons - and on a FRIDAY??
Gotham to a Thursday?? Empire to the 8pm slot?

Blacklist is not an 8pm show, what are they thinking!? With the DVR I really only know for sure when a few of my shows are on, most nights I open up the DVR and see what taped night before...except for Survivor..must watch live!

I never pay much attention to what night a show is on. My DVR will find it for me. It's made my life so much simpler!

Is Modern Family moving to Wednesday or is The Middle moving to Tuesday? I'm another person who depends on their DVR to make these decisions for them!

The Middle moved to Tuesdays this season. It was followed by American Housewife, so that is moving to Wednesdays now after Modern Family.

Lexie- they don't want to put scripted shows on Sundays from 8-10 in the fall because they'd have to move them in the spring; in all likelyhood they're going to place American Idol (which just announced Katy Perry as a judge) in that timeslot in 2018.

I used to love Modern Family but I am not sure I've watched a single episode this season...but that also might be because it was a show I watched with my daughter and with her off to college it just wasn't that much fun to watch!

Where's Code Black on CBS? Or will that start later in the season when something else fails?
The other two networks have their "48 Hours" type programs. CBS 48 Hours does it best. Best reporters / hosts.

The release says this:
CBS will once again present original programming throughout the full season, rolling out new series BY THE BOOK and INSTINCT, and returning favorites CODE BLACK, ELEMENTARY, MAN WITH A PLAN and the award-winning reality series THE AMAZING RACE and UNDERCOVER BOSS.
Which I think means they'll show it later in the season (so Spring 2018 maybe).
