I mentioned the Handmaid's Tail book and the movie in my above post. They are only into ep 4 of the hulu series because they aren't releasing this one all at once, but as soon as it's over, I really have to check out the book and movie.

It has been many years since I read The Handmaids Tale. I remember thinking it was good. The movie was ok from what I recall but not anything about which to get excited.

In Canada, on Bravo station, we just had episode 3 of a Handmaid's Tale. Wow the protest totally reminded me of recent events minus the slaughter part. Good show.

Netflix has renewed "13 Reasons Why", but I can't imagine how it could go on.

I think there is a lot they can cover -- the other suicidal kid, what happens to the other assaulted girl, what happens to the rapist. I'm not sure it will be a very good series. They kind of seem to ruin season 2 every time they do this to a show that was supposed to be 1 season. Since there is no second book, they are starting from scratch.

I finished watching Travelers this afternoon and I quite enjoyed it. I wish I didn't have to wait for season 2.

We forced our way through two episodes of "The Keepers" and we quit. It might just be the slowest and most boring documentary we have ever watched.
It's about the unsolved murder of a nun in the late '60s.

LOL Naja! I binged the whole thing Sunday and even re-watched some on Monday as I couldn't get it out of my head. I will agree that it did not need to be 7 episodes, but I was sucked in to the story. Your post made me laugh as I've been anxiously waiting to see what people thought of it. You must think I'm nutz.

Miz, the 2nd season of Bloodline is definitely available and it's delicious! Don't forget Sense8. First season was yummy and the 2nd season just became available! 😛

Season 5 of House of Cards will be released at 12:01 a.m. Pacific time on May 30.

I have watched all of Offspring, loved it. I'm actually on Season 3 of Bloodlines, just starting it today, thanks for the heads-up!
Happy Valley I watched 3 episodes but feel sorry for one character and feel like I know where it will go.
Haven't tried Sense8 or Travellers, will look into. Dexter I tried one episode, too dark for me. Midwives tried one episode but didn't get into.
Any other recommendations?

I was lying in bed last night and suddenly remembered, "Bloodline Season 3 comes out tomorrow!" I had to put it out of my mind so I could go to sleep.

Narco. Better Call Saul. Mad Men. Breaking Bad of course. I'd say Fri Night Kights but looks like you are from Canada and you might not appreciate stories revolving around highschool football in small town Texas. I hear Lady Dynamite is good. Orange is the New Black?
I started watching Girl Boss bc I liked the actress. It's just OK.

Just finished "Bloodline", disappointed , confusing plott. Perhaps I should not have watched some of the final episodes while sleepy. At one point I was so confused with the plot and this was a show I really enjoyed during the first 2 seasons.
