The irony is, once a show moves to a cable channel from a major network channel, it gets better because of less restrictions, but then in most cases it gets cancelled shortly after.
It would have been better off getting picked up by a streaming company.

They have had to cut costs for the move to CMT, and have cut two cast members. Not really a spoiler as it sounds like their storylines will just stop, but the two leaving are

I simply cannot imagine him playing the role of Shakespeare in Something Rotten. . Loved Christian Borle playing the role. It was the best show I have seen in years.

I hope the show will survive without Connie. She's probably my least favorite character because the person she is bleeds over into the Rayna character for me.
I know she's been unhappy in the role for some time now and at one point tried to get production moved to LA because she didn't want to live/work in Nashville. She comes off as diva-ish in real life with no consideration for her castmates or fans of the show.

I am in a panic! Spent all day today looking forward to the restart of Nashville tonight and just discovered that it is only on the CMTHD channel and it's NOT offered by xfinity in my area! It shows in the guide, but when I select it I get a message that if I want to subscribe update my account. When I go to my account, it's not an available channel!
Anyone know of any streaming sites that will show it?
I saw the preview a couple weeks ago on Bravo.

I found it. Oddly it's on nick HD, but not until after the airing time on CMT. It will air tonight from 11 PM - 1 AM and be rerun several times tomorrow and over the weekend. Better than nothing, but I had planned my night to be ready to watch at 9 PM.

Loads of people are going to be equally upset at that! Watching the next day is ok most of the time, but annoying when something big happens and you have to spend the day avoiding spoilers.
