I love this show but also am over this storyline. At five minutes before the end of the show, when they played Gordon Lightfoot's "If you could read my mind," I started to laugh at the whole thing. The grabbing of the grass kept me going.

It was surprising, but then again, I am not quite sure what is going since the "grabbing of the grass", LOL.
I really did enjoy the song though, it has been a long time since I heard it.

I also don't know why she's named "MR" Kaplan but I love it all the same. It's one of those little things that keeps the mystery going in this storyline.
I also enjoyed hearing Gordon Lightfoot's song too.

Why "Mr." and not "Mrs."?
A: It is a reference to a Cary Grant movie, "North by Northwest", in which the character's name is George Kaplan.
A: It could be an alias. Anyone expecting a Mr Kaplan, as Liz did, would probably overlook a woman in her seventies.
A: It could be Reddington using his naval background. In the Navy, both men and women officers are called "Sir". Same way he called her his "better half".
A: The character was originally meant to be a male, but an executive producer told them to hire Susan Blommaert.

Just to clarify, I like Gordon Lightfoot and the song. I just thought it an odd choice for that point in the story.
