Another night where I yelled WHAT at the ending. Is this going to happen every week?! I love this show. I got teary in places and laughed in places.

Wow! Great show! I found the pilot on Shaw demand and had recorded the next episode and watched them back to back last night. I think this may be my new favorite comedy drama!

I love it when they throw in a twist to keep me off balance. I'm going to guess that the dad dies because she is still wearing the necklace.

Just finished watching last night's show. Miguel?!! What the heck?! I'm thinking you're right, Looky_lou! I was starting to wonder if the parents had passed away, cause they hadn't shown them in the "present" yet.
The stubble on Milo's chin was totally bugging me. That style didn't come in till about the 90s maybe. People would have just thought he was unkempt back in the 80s!
And thank you, Kookliebird, for identifying "Miguel" for me. I knew I'd seen him somewhere before, but couldn't place him. He's Javie!
Yes, goosebumps and tears. Both episodes. Reminds me of Parenthood and The Gilmore Girls. New favorite show for sure!

I only watched this after I saw so many posts showing up in the new messages. I didnt read the messages wanted to watch the show first,,,WOW!! loved it!! Loved the twist at the end of the 1st ep and the surprise at the end of the 2nd ep.
Happy to see the actor that played Chris Darden in the OJ series on this!
This show makes me laugh and gets me teary eyed. Love it!

Lookyloo, ooohhhh I missed she still had the necklace on!!!! I'm thinking maybe he dies of drunk driving. I hope his drinking isnt an indicator that the actor may be a heavy drinker.

I am loving this show and was caught by surprise at the end of Episode 2. I noticed the necklace but was mostly taken by the terrible makeup job on Miguel to make him look older.

Because all of NBC's programming was wiped out on Tuesday due to the Kaine/Pence debate. It comes back next Tuesday (and it'll be on one hour earlier than usual, 9:00 ET/PT, 8:00 CT).

A few more interesting tidbits.... the mother tracked down the birth father. Love the relationship between the sister and her new beau. He sees what she needs, even if she and her brother do not. Yup, I'm hooked.

Another great episode, but they have to turn down the volume of the background music - it was so loud during the scene when Randall asked his father to describe his birth mother that it drowned out a piece of Randall's dialogue. Very irritating.

I got teary at a few parts last night. Loved how Kevin severed the tie with his sister. She needed it. And can I just get a doctor like Gerald McRaney's character?
