The Night Manager with Tom Hiddleston starts tonight on AMC. They had me at Tom Hiddleston.

This is just a heads up for any comcast users that had a rate increase.
We had 2 dvrs + HBO, SHO, and MAX + Telephone + 100 Mbps internet for $190 something. All of a sudden the bill jumped to $227.
DH went down to complain about the price hike, and now we have whole house DVR (record up 6 things at once and view in 3 different rooms), All the movie premium channels like before, phone service, 300Mbps internet, except now it's $140 locked in price for 3 years.
Complaining does you good!

I have whole home PVR with Rogers Cable here in Canada and I love it!
I watched The Night Manager last night - wasn't sure I was going to make it through the first 15 minutes but I kept with it and really enjoyed it!

If anybody has the X1 whole house dvr, here's how to program the 30 second skip for recordings.
30 second skip on X1
Point the Comcast remote at the X1 box.
Press EXIT EXIT EXIT 0030
This turns the PG up button to a 30 second skip. (and PG down to -15 seconds)
You don't lose the page up/down button functionality at all. Page up/down still works in the the situations it's needed.

I've been watching Grantchester on PBS, since the end of Downtown Abbey. An Anglican minister and a police detective solve murders in a village outside of Cambridge.
Here's one of the BIG reasons I watch it...James Norton...a cross between a young Robert Redford and maybe a little Prince William thrown in for good measure? lol ;)

I enjoyed season one and need to catch up on season two. Robson Green is great also.
James Norton plays a nasty piece of work in Happy Valley if you have Netflix.

Ahhhh...yes, it's amazing how the two of them are now literally at each others throats. That was quite the punch-up they had. I'm enjoying the fact that they are at loggerheads over cases. It makes it more real. I also love the 50s, so that's a big bonus.

Lazylu, I have seen Jon Foo (Lee) on a few talk shows and he is very charming. When I first saw him I couldn't get over how handsome he was. His Irish mom and Chinese dad sure make beautiful children together.

Chicago X 5 ??!! Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Chicago Med, Chicago Justice will air in the fall. (Characters will be introduced in this Wednesday's Chicago P.D.) And Dick Wolf is looking forward to a possible 5th Chicago series!

Does anybody else get grossed out when Conan O'Brien does that nipple wiggling at the beginning of his show? I record his show every night, but I have to FF past the nipple wiggling before I settle in to watch.

Is anyone else watching The Path on Hulu? I love it and there is only one episode left of the season. I cannot stand the character of Sara but she is definitely a true believer.
