This is a new show on ABC slated to start Monday the 20th of May. The killer will be divulged at the start of each show...ala Columbo. I'm looking forward to enjoying it. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

It looks good. Hopefully ABC will give it a chance to grow in case the initial episodes have so-so ratings. I'm always nervous when the major networks start a new show as they sometimes cancel after just a few episodes. It's so frustrating!

ABC is really guilty of the early axe, more so than other major networks. Since this is the start of the summer season, maybe they won't be as quick to yank it if it doesn't immediately draw 20 million viewers.

I've been watching Motive on a Canadian channel since it started and it's pretty good.

I'm looking forward to this one. Maybe since it's a summer series they won't hold it to such high ratings standards.
I recognize the actress as liking her, but I can't place where I've seen her.

I had to look her up as I recognized but couldn't place her either, Whrlwnd. She played Gwen Eaton on The Killing if you watched that. This character seems quite a departure from Gwen! Here is her IMDb page...

If I had known that ABC was going to be airing this show during the summer, I wouldn't have watched it on a Canadian channel all winter. Since there is a lack of shows during the summer, I would have saved this one for now.

Was this show on last night? My DVR didn't record it. Was it a repeat of the one that was already on this week? The one that was on the other night showed an original date of Feb. 2013. I'm wondering if the DVR won't record because it's not a "new" date. Bummer!

They've already produced and aired a full 13-episode season, I think. I doubt if ABC will pull it since it's a summer show, but you never know. I enjoyed the first two episodes a lot. A lot of familiar Sci-Fi faces.

I'm pretty sure tomorrow night's show is a first-run in the U.S., but it's not noted as a "new" show on the TiVo schedule.

You might need to adjust your TiVo machines. The entire series was shown on the Canadian channels since early February, so in reality, none of the shows are "new".

Bumping this up for the new season. I really enjoyed this show last year so I'm glad it's back. I really didn't think this format could work with knowing from the beginning who the killer is but they always manage to surprise you somehow. Great show.
Tonight's episode also had some great shots showing how beautiful Vancouver is.

how many more episodes are left this "season"... i too didnt think i would like the format but it has just enough to hold you ...plus i really like Louis Ferreira... last week's episode was definitely worth the twists to figure out the motive - be it so sad at the end knowing injustice was throughout the whole storyline...
