but...I bet the writers wrote that line specifically to get ppl talking..its just ambiguous enough!

Hmmm, I am not sure what that was all about, but I kept thinking why would that guy do that, and of course I remembered fatal illness from other shows, but I find it interesting how close Redington was to the woman who was kidnapped.
