I think it will be sadder when he's not in the episodes anymore. I'm going to miss his character.

Every time I see this thread has new posts I always have to check it out... but then I'm greeted with Lee's picture. It makes me so sad. As I watch the new episodes I find myself focusing on him and watching for signs/clues of depression. So, so sad.

I can't believe that the next show is the end of the season. It seems I have only seen maybe three episodes this time

Saggkl, this was the end of season 4 which had 16 episodes. The season was split and they took a break because of Lee's death. Season 5 starts in June.

Hmmm, Detective Frost was on vacation this last episode, must mean he will die while gone. I have been wondering how they would hand it.

I think he will decide to choose his girl friend over his job. He will be missed no matter how they handle it.

Lazylu, at first I couldn't figure out what your comment meant, then I watched the show so now I get it.
Even though I knew Detective Frost was already gone it was really hard to see it on TV, I shed a few tears.
And it looks like it will be even sadder next week.
It was really a good show, I immediately suspected the girlfriend, figured she was jealous of the kid or wife, but didn't think the father was involved.

This was a really good show, but they got me crying several times. And the bagpipes always get to me.
The eulogy was really moving as well and it felt like it worked for his real life as well.
It was very moving to see Rizzoli finally cry at the end.

I was looking up cast info on this show and saw that Frankie is played by Jordan Bridges, son of Beau Bridges.

I had a hard time watching that episode. I kept wondering if the cast was crying (acting) or crying over the real life friend they had lost. Too overwhelming for my little heart.

I don't think Bruce McGill's tears were acting and Frankie's reaction at the accident scene was acting either. Hard to watch and so sad.
