so what happened to Branch and/or his father? Is that in the books? I guess I'll have to read them to find out.

I can't believe they canceled their most watched show. That is just stupid! I have faith someone else will pick it up, I hope.

Remember when A&E stood for ART & ENTERTAINMENT? Now what is it? Ducks, storage units and cement trucks.

Kappy, those were the days and TLC was The Learning Cannel not Honey Boo Boo and 19 Kids and Counting etc. SMH.

Wow - someone really doesn't like me. They could have just deleted the one word.

From my post that was deleted - I had read online that A&E didn't think enough young people were watching Longmire. If the show is getting the ratings, why should that matter? I would think people in their 50's have more disposable income to spend then those in their 20's. They're seriously missing a huge market when they think only the young spend money. I guess it's WHAT they spend it on.

The books are supposed to be quite brilliant (my dad has read them all) but I wouldn't buy them solely to get closure on this storyline. The tv show is apparently very loyal to the spirit of the characters but does not copy the story lines.

One of my favorite shows. If it is cancelled, why are there still commercials being shown? Just saw one last night and another this am.

Probably because they want people to watch the reruns.

So what did happen with Branch & his dad?
At least we got closure for the trial. And Longmire's wife.

Branch and his dad was the cliff hanger for next season. :-( I heard they are shopping around for someone else to pick up the show. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

What a tough show to cancel, perhaps a network like TNT could rescue it? No idea why a show like "Duck Dynasty" gets shown at all because that one is for the birds!

I don't do Netflix so I will wait until the 10 episodes come on out DVD and stay away from the subject here. ;)

Good news...Longmire was shockingly cancelled by A&E back in August after three seasons, despite being the highest rated scripted show on the network. After a big Twitter campaign to save the show, Netflix picked it up for a fourth season in November.

Longmire season 4 is expected to be released in the fall on Netflix.http://www.enstarz.com/articles/82331/20150425/longmire-season-4-photos-lou-diamond-phillips-more-welcome-back-peter-weller-for-episode-4.htm

I guess we will have to have tutorials on how to do Netflix, I don't have a clue since I hate watching stuff on my small screen laptop, but I guess I will have to get over it, LOL.

There are a few inexpensive devices that will allow you to watch Netflix on your TV. Let us know if you would like some help. :-)

Well it would be nice if they put out season 3 before 4. I am so glad they had picked up the show. I hope it goes longer than 4 seasons I have enjoyed the first two seasons.

Ok eat my words lol...Season 3 is on Netflix right now as of May 1st. Netflix has also just stated season 4 is picked up by them to continue the show at least for one more season.
