I love watching "live" on Saturday nights, too. I usually watch it both times right in a row, and then again whenever Ron & Terry's podcast comes out. One of my FB groups did a rewatch a few months ago, holding a chat while we watched. It was so much fun!

The show is actually way grittier than I usually prefer, but the chemistry between the stars draws me in.

Must be the teens I hang out with all day as the grit is right up my alley. :-)

The bad guy on that show who plays the sadistic military guy is too damned convincing as the bad guy. For that alone he should get awards. Unfortunately as a result I have trouble being sympathetic to his alter-ego on the show.

Tobias Menzies is the actor, and he IS fabulous as the villain isn't he? I think it will be quite difficult watching the Wentworth scenes, but I appreciate how true they are staying to the Books.

Yup, Heckagirl - April 4 it returns with an episode from JAMIE's point of view! WHEEEEE!!! :-)

I am excited for the show to come back! I am still reading the series. I am on book seven so only one more to read after this one.

Book eight is a roller coaster, Denecee, but in a good way (and you know there's going to be at least one more after that, right? probably two from what Diana has said.)

For fellow Canadians - Showcase will be doing a marathon of four episodes from the first half season on March 29th. You can vote on which four here:

Teach, thanks for telling me that. I usually read books much faster but I want to enjoy every moment of these books.

:-) I'm the same way, Denecee. I've had to wait for every. single. book since the second one, so I've learned to read slowly. The last two books, I'd only allow myself to read 10 minutes a day! (Of course, as soon as I'm done, I listen to it again on audio, and then I don't put ANY limits on at all - just listen for hours!)

I almost forgot... but many years ago I was temping in an office bldg., and on my lunch hour I went downstairs to the mall below and there was D.G. signing her books at the bookshop. I had no idea about her books or who she was at the time. I just remember thinking she had a most unusual name.

Oh my Holy Lord!!

I adored how much of the dialogue (particularly during the fight, the spanking, and the make-up sex) was taken word for word from the book. Cait or Ron or Sam said they had to film tonight's episode right after episode 104 since this one was also at Leoch. Sam has indicated he can tell this was early on as he thinks he's grown into the part better later....can you imagine if he and Cait were any better? My TV would have MELTED!!

We are actually getting the Starz channels for free this weekend. Makes me think they are wanting Outlander to catch on more. By the way, love it, of course!

We Canadians got it tonight.

Holy moly - I forgot how, um, earthy, this show is. ;)

Cracked me up when he asked her what certain naughty words meant.

Unfortunately, no longer getting Starz, it was just a free preview weekend. I will have to wait till tomorrow and hopefully will be able to find it online.

It said content was not available for my location.

I watched at my usual place tonight. It's been quite a while since I read the books. It seems they are sticking to them pretty well so far.

:-) Right there with ya', Denecee; right there with ya! Cait and Sam are both doing a marvelous job, and I adore Graham McTavish! Dougal and Colum scenes are such fun to watch.

Are the actor's legs really bent and bowed or is that CGI? Re: the laird. I am mesmerized and fixated on them during his scenes, trying to figure it out. I don't believe it's real. Curious how the heck they do that.
