Maybe REd wants her to believe her father is dead because he's a bad, bad man and he doesn't want her hurt.
As for Tom, I think he has some level of affection for her, but I don't think he loves her and I think he would harm her if he had to. And remember, she shot him, twice. He could be a real threat now.

I agree with Brenda that Red doesn't want her know he's her father because that will only increase the danger that will fall into her lap if she knows the truth.
Please don't let Tom kick the bucket. (Too cute!).

I don't think Red is her father, not sure why except it seems too obvious that he is. LOLOL I do think the father is still alive but also that Red isn't lying when he says he died in the fire. I think he means the man he WAS died in the fire (just like Darth Vader??  )

I just had a great idea..Alan Alda is her dad! Red saved her from the fire but Alan is her dad...maybe Alan killed Berlin's daughter...maybe Berlin's daughter was also the mom of Red's daughter that was killed ...and Alan is the one that killed Berlin's daughter

Ooohhh Pamy! That's a really good guess! Didn't think of Alan Alda. But that would make a lot of sense too. I mean they never did make it clear why he hates Red so. That would definitely do it!

I didn't realize I'd missed the finale until I got here. I just watched it online. I hated seeing one of my have actors get her throat slashed. I didn't see that coming. Darn!

Another thought. What if Red kidnapped her from her evil father and was raising her in the house that burned. She would think the man who saved her (Red) was her father but he really isn't.
Do we know anything about her mother?

This show returns on 9/22, in a recent ad it was noted that Red had been a former FBI agent........I don't recall ever knowing that.

Best moment of Blacklist season 2 premiere? Megan Boone's shorter hair. Hated that fake long hair wig all of season 1. I know, so trivial and so minor, but sh*** like that makes network tv suck. Why not just let the main female character HAVE short hair, as the actress does in real life? Nope, the older white guys in a room say to themselves, it's important that she have LONG hair, because long hair equals beauty equals ratings in our simple heads, so since she doesn't have her own long hair, we'll have her wear a wig. THAT's awesome....
Rant about hair over. Love Spader too.

Her hair was one of the first things I noticed last year. It distracted me to no end! So glad she's back to her own hair! Petty as it may BR :-)

I am beginning to think there are very few celebrities that use their own hair. It is more noticeable on some then others. I didn't notice her hair and it certainly never bothered me. The fake hair that I hate are the ones that is long and stringy and looks like snakes on their shoulders. LOL

I never noticed the hair, I was always preoccupied with the being good or evil and husband her relationship to Red. Still unsure how I over looked Red being an FBI agent at one time.
