Did anyone else go searching on Facebook? There's a "famous person" page (has a picture) and then someone created a "real person" page (no picture). I don't think either are sanctioned by the producers (i.e. not official). The same goes for Twitter accounts that have the character names - it's well known they are the work of fans (and not official/sanctioned/given permission) by the producers. However, one of the main show runners, @BillPrady does have a Twitter and often posts pictures from the set & behind the scenes.

I'm new to this show and I love it. It's very funny. Does anyone know why Sheldon does not drive? Thanks for any help on this question.

They may not have mentioned why Sheldon doesn't drive, but my memory is not all that good. It makes it easy to watch reruns.

BUT, I worked with a female version of Sheldon and she tried many times to take driving lessons but couldn't find the right teacher. It seems all the professional driving instructors didn't understand the rules of the road, didn't know how cars really worked and didn't appreciate being told how to do their jobs. They always quit her before she could drive them completely crazy.

I can't remember exactly, but they did an ep on Sheldon driving, and Sheldon shouldn't drive! lol

Cpaaa, welcome to one of the funniest shows ever! TBS and TBS On Demand and probably Netflix have old eps.

Yes, Sheldon shouldn't drive! lol

I remember the episode where they made him go to the DMV for lessons and he argued with them about the scientific accuracies of their test questions and then could not handle the driving simulator Howard set up for him and admitted defeat. I should say he admitted defeat in his "Sheldon way".

Yeah, it was so funny, he crashed the simulator about every 2 minutes. It is a miracle that he was able to drive Penny to the hospital when she dislocated her shoulder.

But of course then he got a ticket for running a red light and ended up in jail, LMAO.

I can't wait until I see those shows on TBS re-runs. This is the best show I hadn't been watching until now.

Is this not on tonight? There's basketball on my local CBS channel...is it network-wide basketball or just local?

NCAA tournament. Three weeks of it, I think.

It's also on TBS, TNT and TRU.

Just read recently that Stephen Hawking is going to do a cameo on the show. Not sure when.

Now they need to work on getting Leonard Nimoy for Sheldon. One of my fave episodes is when Penny gave Sheldon Nimoy's used napkin.

They couldn't get Leonard Nimoy to appear, but he will be heard. I guess he'll be on the phone or something but he will be speaking on the show. He doesn't do appearances anymore.

Oh bummer about Nimoy. Glad he'll still be phoning it in as they say (sorry, bad pun).

The tournament is awesome...

I like being able to clear my DVR over the next 2 weeks while CBS shows basketball...

As a nerd, geek, however you want to say it. I LOVE BBT.

However, even if you have no interest in sports at all, you are missing out if you do not watch March Madness.

College age players with a chance to make every dream they have come true. One game, every play, every shot, every choice counts.

There is no better reality TV.

Yeah, but why does it have to take ten channels, LOL. Just put it on ESPN and be done with it.
