Yes! It was also still slightly cheaper when the CA dollar was at par with USA for a brief while. Plus our guy has a booming practice with state of the art equipment and techniques AND small hands! I went along with Bigdog once and asked about the price of tooth whitening, and they said, "how about free?" And I got molds made for my teeth and they gave me free stuff to put in them, and when I ran out, they gave me more free filler. What's not to like?

Okay, so I got up at 6:30 for 7:15 am departure, and we actually departed at 7:10 and arrived at 7:51 am, including crossing the border, and the office was open, but we had our first rain of the summer last night, which means the roads are slippery, and dentist was stuck in a traffic accident on the major highway south from Vancouver. Even without my hearing aids in, I soon heard the receptionist/technician on the phone with the dentist and repeating "NORTH of 'the tunnel'", the bane of CA HWY 99 drivers, and which may have meant he could be there for hours. We volunteered to go home, so the patients after us might be able to keep their appointments and come back tomorrow or Thursday, if there were any openings. So we, or maybe just Bigdog, are going back Thursday morning. We really like this dentist and are worried that he might be thinking about retiring. We only go to him to have work done, so I rarely see him, as I have much better teeth than Bigdog. Our govt. ins. pays for twice yearly cleaning and exam, and full set of x-rays every three years. So we have exams in US, and any work done in Canada. Whew. Uh, thanks for asking.

two tentacles
With its eight arms and two tentacles, the cuttlefish is ready to hunt. When a shrimp or fish is in range, the cuttlefish aims and shoots out its two tentacles to seize its prey.
