Waaaahhhhhhh!!! I chopped off 61 when I copied last night. And I KNEW the answer because I have visited the TWO Civil War era forts underneath the Golden Gate Bridge on each side. The first time I walked out on the Golden Gate Bridge and looked over the side, I was absolutely gobsmacked to be looking down into a Civil War fort, of which I have visited several, mostly in the southern USA.

My teeny-tiny surrogate Kauai Mommy and your real Mommy may very well know each other! Although my Mommy would be older. Maybe she babysat your Mommy. Nah, teenaged babysitters were not invented back in that time. My Mommy was in Lihue.

Guesses for new set:

1. white

2. dunno

3. I saw the Joaquin Phoenix movie, and I think it was either Ring of Fire or I Walk the Line, will go with I Walk the Line

4. Olive Garden. 20-30 years ago it used to be both unlimited bread sticks AND unlimited salad. When we lived in Houston and saw two movies every weekend because it was SO FREAKING HOT, and the movies were air conditioned, we would often have either lunch or dinner before or after the matinee, at Olive Garden, where we would have $6 unlimited salads and bread sticks.

5. 20 seconds, no idea. It seems like a really long time.

6. Sydney, have been there 2-3 times

7. The Dead Sea, have been there and have been in it, took the proverbial photo of reading the newspaper while leisurely floating high in the water with no flotation device. The bottom and getting in sites are VERY sticky, goopy, clingy gray clay. Bigdog wore Crocs in, and the clay immediately took one and sucked it down. It quickly went lower than he could reack into the clay, so I tried and tried with my freakishly long appendages, reaching down through that icky, sticky clay. It was SO hard because the salinity was keeping my body at the surface while trying to reach down into the mud. There was NO diving under the water. I was determined but finally retrieved the shoe. By the time we got out of the water, and having to climb through the sticky clay at the shore, and sinking down into it, we were exhausted. Then there were lines at the outdoor showers, just to knock off the big stuff to get back into a car or bus. That clay was in every body cavity and crevice, and deep under my fingernails, of course. Never again, but, oh, what an experience.

8. cashier's cage

9. plastics

10. Spain
