Sister-in-law came over this afternoon for our belated Holiday turkey dinner.

I finally used the saltwater swimming pool and hot tub in our condo bldg this morning.

Ok I am up
1. One New Years Eve , a friend and I went to City Hall for its show of fireworks and music. However as it was too cold out we went to a hotel across instead to its bar.
or
2. Due to all the blowing snow , my one nephew and his wife never made it to his brother in laws for Christmas about 2 1/2 hours north west by Lake Huron.

We have a solo winner in OG.It was bitterly cold beyond freezing so we went to the Sheraton Centre hotel bar.
My nephew went up on 23rd and would not have made it on the 24th. He had to come back a day late due to the blowing snow.
Hoping hubby doing a bit better, Scoots. Happy 2023 all!!

LAST TUESDAY A POWER SURGE BLEW OUT A ELECTRIC PANEL IN OUR FURNACE...REPAIR COULDN'T COME UNTIL FRIDAY AND THEY ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE PART. WE'RE STARTING ON OUR 7TH FURNACELESS DAY. BRRR! THEY DID BRING US SOME SPACE HEATERS WHICH HELPS SOMEWHAT.
NOW THAT ALL THE LEAVES HAVE FALLEN OFF OUR SWEETGUM TREE I CAN SEE A SQUIRREL DREY. WE'VE NEVER BEFORE HAD A DREY IN ONE OF OUR TREES.

STILL NO HEAT...51 DEGREES IN THE HOUSE TODAY BUT NICE AND TOASTY IN THE COMPUTER ROOM WITH THE LITTLE HEATER.
REPAIR MAYBE LATER TODAY BUT FOR SURE TOMORROW. TODAY IS OUR 8TH DAY WITH NO HEAT...DIRTY WORDS!

TODAY MAKES THE 9TH DAY WITH NO HEAT EXCEPT THE LITTLE SPACE HEATERS. YESTERDAY MY DD COULD SEE HER BREATH IN THE KITCHEN.
THEY FINALLY GOT THE NEEDED PART AND WILL INSTALL IT TODAY. PRAY THAT WILL BE THE END OF THIS NIGHTMARE.
AND YES I WILL TAKE SOME CHEESE WITH THIS WHINE!
