Every preemie I know has been fiesty, at least as a baby & child. Meghan weighed 1.4lbs and just turned 18 last fall. She was sooooooooooooo fiesty. Her dr said it was because she had to fight so hard to live in the beginning and it was still in her to fight.

It's not listed in my tv guides, but TLC has a notice that they are having a special tonight at 8:00 pm Eastern time about the birth of Josh and Anna's new baby.

M theme. Michael James. Born June 15. Anna's dad is Michael, Josh's of course is James.

Bawled through most of this. Hubby's daughter is dialated to 3 and 70% effaced. Still a long way to go. Son in law is frantic & wants to rush to hospital everytime there is a contraction. Daughter told him to chill. Could still be a week or two.

I'll have to say I find Josh and Anna very interesting. They are a cute couple. She did a good job birthing Michael at home.

I too had tears in my eyes during labor and delivery. They sure did a great job getting Mackynsie (SP) ready for the new baby.

I watched 3 other episodes last night and hoped at least one would have been of the birth, but no such luck. What struck me seeing a promo for it was that that Anna had one of those long skirts in their blow up pool. All I could think of was how uncomfortable that must have been. Although it seems it might have been more comfy than on the toilet. :-)

She started out in the birthing tub, moved to their bed, then moved to the couch, but her delivery was ultimately accomplished on the toilet (what a story to tell when their son gets older...and look! It is on video!). She did have on that longer skirt...do the girls have to swim in those things?
