and where the heck does Mark's accent come from!? so annoying. He doesnt have it on every word just sometimes and he DIDNT have any accent at all until a couple years ago

I didn't understand about the voting either. It seemed like they contradicted themselves. Maybe people didn't want Allison dancing pregnant anymore. "shrugs"

I only saw bits and pieces of the very end of the show but to me it looked like in the face-off dances Carlos was much better than Bindi...that is the first time I have seen her looking awkward and uncertain.
The other pairing I saw was Tamar and Alexa and honestly I thought Alexa was a lot more fun to watch whereas Tamar looked like she was holding back.

Misspoufy, I do the same thing with Val and Tamar. It's too bad because I actually enjoy Val, but I was DONE with Tamar after the first week.

AGREE, Misspoufy. At this point, the pros and stars are a good group, having fun . . . and then there's Tamar.
I really really like Erin. When they announced sex of Nick and wife's baby last night, it was a little awkward. But I do not think it was due to Erin. After it was announced, Nick and his wife didn't seem excited to know. So that was it. Maybe time was short and the show had to move on.
When I think of Brooke and her dresses and "hairdos" . . .

Erin was on her A game last night. I typically think she's barely acceptable--and loved Leah Remini in her place the past two weeks despite the fact that I normally find her loudness incredibly off-putting--but last night she was much better than usual. Maybe she saw tapes of Leah and got nervous about job security.

As much as I'm happy for Leah to succeed and have a good life, I don't think she was a very good co-host on Dancing With the Stars.

I'm so confused and I watched that part twice... but the viewers voted for Bindi and Derek, but they lost the points, while even though the audience voted for Alexa and Mark, THEY got the points. For the third dance the judges and viewers agreed so Andy got the points.
So? Did Erin screw up? Someone in back of her was making confused faces. At the end they mentioned the leaderboard but didn't show it, so I've got the points the way they announced them, but it doesn't seem correct.
Somehow the judges got to judge Bindi vs Carlos but not Tamar vs Alexa?

I'm not a big fan of Leah but I'd take her over Erin. But I sure liked Erin's dress and most of the time she dresses so much better than Brooke did.. this one was excellent and she looked great. Actually her outfit they showed in the clip from the World Series also looked good.

We're told lawyers for the show will do what it takes to get the judge to sign off. When she does, here's Bindi's deal:
-- a guarantee of $125k
-- by making it to weeks 3 and 4 she gets an additional $10k per week
-- week 5 gets her another $15,000
-- weeks 6 and 7 she gets $20k a week
-- weeks 8 and 9 she gets $30k a week
-- and if she makes it to 10 and 11 she gets $50,000 a week
Bindi has made it through week 8, so her total so far is $230k, and still going strong.
That's interesting, I bet she's nowhere near the highest paid either.
I would hope the judge just needed the official death certificate!

That sounds about right- some of the bigger gets might have a larger guarantee, but the weekly money jives with numbers I've seen on other celebs..
I think it was just a technicality on the Bindi issue- you know TMZ has a tendency to exaggerate things.
