Pamy, they combine the scores from this week and last week so no elimination until next week.
I loved Alek's dance and was surprised he just scored a little better than Paula when actually Mark took up a lot of dance time with his opening resulting in less steps for her to learn.
I hope they are not setting this up for a wife vs husband finale. Since Bindi and Alex do not have any dance training and are doing so well, I would like to see them in the finale.

While I thought Alexa and Carlos much improved, I'm not quite sure I thought they both deserved the 10's. Alexa had several foot problems (yes, I watch their feet) and that dress seemed to get in her way at times.
For those "Derek always gets a ringer" people; you saw the difference in his teaching and Mark's last night. After last week Mark was clearly upset and telling Alexa she was going to be eliminated. Derek was encouraging constantly, building her up, being patient and look how well she did.
As for a final between the two PenaVegas, don't think it will happen, personally. Carlos was in the bottom two last week, he'll go back to his regular partner and slide back down. I think it will come down to Bindi and Nick (I think he's actually quite good.)
Oh and on Maks judging....was he trying to be smarmy?

It was nice to hear Tom Bergeron talk about his father's love of the show and get emotional. When they put the dedication at the end, it appears that his dad actually died yesterday. Tom's a good son.

Erin likes to poke needles and embarrass..
I don't know if Carlos was bottom two last week.. they often say a team is in jeopardy and it seems like a ploy to get people voting for them. Hard to believe that Paula wasn't bottom two with Gary.
I thought the possibility of hurt feelings is high, just from comments quoted by spoilers about one dancer being better..

Erin makes me smile. I look forward to her commentary and interactions with stars and pros and Tom. And she always looks so nice -- never overdone as Brooke often was.

Erin is the least irritating of all the women they had in that spot. She asks them some stupid questions but for the most part I like her.

Regardless of all the Erin love, all I was saying is that she seems intent on stressing possible coupling of stars and pros and that can be less than comfortable for some and downright annoying for others.
Why is it a wonderful thing that Alek was visibly embarrassed?
And I am still looking forward to seeing the show and will when time permits.

I wonder if there have been some sparks flying between the two of them backstage so that's why they pushed it so hard...neither of them...as embarrassed as they seemed...seemed to have a problem with them being paired together and teased.
Personally I think they make a very cute couple.

I noticed this season there are no 'great' dancers among the celebrities as in previous seasons. It totally killed my interest in the show... Oh well, it had to happen sooner or later.
